Balloonatics is no stranger to marketing and advertising, having been in business now for 6 years Yellow Pages and local directories was their main source of enquiries, but that has all changed.

Balloonatics of Derby is a small company in Derby, offering Balloon Decorating services for Weddings, Parties and Corporate functions. Now in its sixth year of trading, Balloonatics has grown from strength the strength in the Derby area, are relies heavily on advertising as Rhys Adams, Owner of Balloonatics works from a converted garage in Long Eaton.

In December, Kim Fletcher from Wedding Professionals Network contacted Rhys, Owner at Balloonatics about joining their new networking group.

“I was a bit worried at first, I have tried a few networking groups around Derby and some work, some don’t and to have a group purely for the Wedding industry was a little scary” commented Rhys.

Rhys decided to use his Yellow Pages budget on paying for the membership for the year “My spend in Yellow Pages was around £700 for the year, so I set aside the membership fee and left the remainder as a budget for any Wedding Fayres or Promotional leaflets I may need purely for the Wedding Professionals Network.”

“The first meeting was great, we all introduced ourselves and it was nice to see some familiar faces around the room. I have seen many of these people at the wedding fayres, but normally only a quick hello is exchanged.”

“After a few meetings, my fellow members became friends and the feea about referring members to my customers has gone, not only that but I can honestly say that by the March my membership had been paid for by the business that was coming my way”
